Island Marketing Group Introduces It's Newest Client, Tui Tai Adventure Cruise
Los Angeles, CA, September 2002 Island Marketing Group announces its client, Tui Tai Adventure Cruise, Fiji Islands. The Cruise was established by Tige and Morika Young and launched its first cruise in the summer of 2002.
The 3 or 4-night Adventure Cruise begins on Taveuni or Savusavu, on the island of Vanua Levu, respectively.
Each island visited offers its own unique scenery, adventure activities and cultural experiences. Daily excursions highlight the beauty and adventurous side of each island, but the choice of what you do, and when you do it, is ultimately up to each guest.
On land guests can enjoy hiking and biking trails to waterfalls, scenic lookouts and historic village sites. The extent of activity is up to the guest.
The protected bays and lagoons of the islands visited are perfect for kayaking and other water activities. Guests can fish from a kayak or at night from the boat is easily arranged as well. Certified SCUBA divers can take advantage of several different Tui Tai Dive Packages as some of the top dive locations in the world are visited by the Tui Tai.
Guests enjoying the 4-night Adventure Cruise in Savusavu, will spend their first day around Savusavu Bay. Guests can choose between a tropical river kayak trip, a paddle around the nearby island and black pearl farm, or moderate biking and hiking treks. Savusavu is known locally as the "Hidden Paradise," for its small-town charm, natural beauty and variety of adventure activities.
On the "Garden Island of Fiji," guests can ride bikes, hike to a set of three majestic waterfalls, kayak the coastline, or visit a protected marine park where great snorkeling awaits. Taveuni is also home to "Rainbow Reef" and "The Great White Wall" dive-sites, well known around the world as top scuba-diving destinations.
The Island of Kioa, is a cultural highlight to visit the only village on this beautiful island. Guests will have the chance to buy traditional mats and woven baskets directly from the villagers who made them. The handicrafts here are unique because the native islanders originate from Tuvalu and are of Polynesian ancestry. The protected lagoons and bays of Kioa provide amazing kayaking and snorkeling opportunities. Guests will likely cross paths with the local men in their carved outriggers, fishing for the village.
Guests will enjoy the Island of Koro, the perfect destination to focus on adventure. It's a tropical playground offering waterfall hikes, treks to historic ruins, single-track bike rides along the coast, and remote beaches for relaxation. In addition to colorful parrots, guides will also point out the medicinal plants and trees along the way. The protected bays offer superb kayaking, swimming and snorkeling.
The Tui Tai crew are native Fijians trained in First-Aid-at-Sea and knowledgeable about the local legends, islands, plants and animals. Either the General Manager or a Company Director is on board every Adventure Cruise to insure the safety and satisfaction of guests.
All meals, activities, guides and equipment are included. The only exceptions are diving packages, alcohol, packaged goods and souvenirs.
Savusavu can be reached via the Lagilagi catamaran ferry from Pt. Denarau and Lautoka. Savusavu is also a short plane flight from both Nadi International Airport and Suva. For the 3-night cruise, guests can easily reach Taveuni from any of the main island airports.
